Hello everyone. I'm so glad you came by for a visit. My
name is Debbie, I'm an East Tennessee native and a graduate of the
University of Tennessee. Knoxville is a college football town and I love
the season. We typically have around 100,000 people at a home game. The
entire town is filled with Orange & White colors. Jack and I have 3
children. Our oldest son is a teenager and very active in theater and
singing. Our 2 China Roses are young and active in ballet, tap and
gymnastics. They are both mischievous princesses.
I've been sewing all my life. My Grandmother was a quilter
and my mom a seamstress of sorts. She made most of our clothes. My first
garments were doll clothes. But the most memorable garment was a shirt I
made for our Tom cat and forced him to wear. Now, the shirt wasn't
anything to brag about, but the delight, surprise and laughter of my Mom
was worth my efforts. I did graduate into making my own clothes and then
drifted into the crafting and quilting world. I love creating unique
quilts, clothes and gifts all of the fabric nature. My entire extended
family has crazy quilted stockings (some with pictures) with charms to
match their hobbies. The kids have growth charts with pictures. I'm
constantly thinking about new creations and have a long list of To Dos.
I attend about 4 to 5 sewing and quilting shows a year
where I have a booth and sell Ink Jet fabrics, patterns, etc.
Please check my show schedule and come by and say hello!!
If you come to a summer show, you might just meet my son too. I also
teach classes utilizing the OneStitch quilting method and demonstrate
printing on fabrics. I love to teach at quilt guilds.
I hope you enjoy browsing through the site and are inspired
by some of my creations.
I'm stopping for now.
Thanks,
Debbie
